Windows 10: Taskbar in windows 11 hidden with fullscreen browser window

Ok I have searched and searched for this and there are many people having this same issue and It baffles me nobody has solved it as the previous permutations of windows didnt behave this way so this was introduced with windows 11.When I have any browser chrome edge whatever fullscreen When I say fullscreen I mean the normal browser window size which takes up fullscreen but you still see topbar and taskbar. It hides the taskbar. I have read many posts about taskbar options and I have tried ever available option including reinstalling windopws 11 fresh and the behaviour is still persistent. I

chrome + taskbar autohide problem

So i set my taskbar autohide. whenever chrome is in fullscreen, when i hover around the corner, the taskbar wont appear. It works with other browsers....

not sure what I could suggest you that wouldnt already been suggested in this thread, maybe different browsers?. The fullscreen problem I had I could just alt+tab twice (to another window and back) after going fullscreen on (youtube vlc..) and the bar wasnt
there anymore.. I was just tired of doing that everytime

 

Hide taskbar when and only when at fullscreen mode

Windows 11 offer the option:

Automatically hide the taskbar

After selecting it, the taskbar automatically hide no matter whether at fullscreen mode.

If deselecting it, the taskbar does not hide even at fullscreen mode.

What I want:

hide the taskbar when at fullscreen mode.

show the taskbar if not at fullscreen mode.
