Windows 10: Taskbar is automatically hiding, I'd like it have it not hiding at all

I own an up-to-date Windows 10 OS on a Dell Inspiron 14. I'd like to have my taskbar showing at all times since flashing app notifications recently stopped working as intended for some reason, up until recently it had unhid my taskbar whenever I got a notification to let me know that I had received a notification. The taskbar now remains hidden even when I recieve notifications. Despite me turning off auto-hide taskbar in settings, the taskbar is still hiding, as shown below when I click off of it. Is there any way to keep the taskbar locked up?Right-clicking the taskbar will not do anything,

follow these steps

1. On any blank area of your Windows 10 taskbar, right click to reveal a list of menu options.

2. At the bottom of the list of options, click on Taskbar settings.

3. In the Taskbar menu, ensure that the option for "Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode" is enabled by clicking to turn the small lever to the right of the option blue.

4. Your taskbar should disappear automatically once the hide options are enabled.

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.
