  1. Taskbar is disappearing behind apps even though Autohide is not enabled

I have win11 pro installed on a dual monitor setup. My graphics card is an RTX2060.I have noticed that when applications are maximised, they fill the full screen rather than align to the top of the taskbar. Here is excel for example. You can't see the bottom scroll bars because the window has aligned to the bottom of the screen rather than the top of the taskbar.

  3. Autohide Taskbar in Desktop Mode

    Hi Niel,

In rare cases, you may be having an issue with Autohide Taskbar in desktop mode when you when you just recently did an upgrade on your PC. Autohide Taskbar Option might have got unchecked during the process. We would suggest you try the following steps to enable
Autohide taskbar and check if it makes any difference.

    a. Right-click on the Taskbar.

    b. Click on Properties.

    c. Put a check mark next to ‘Auto-hide’ the taskbar.

    d. Click on Apply and OK.

    Update us with the result.

Windows 10 Login Taking a long time with autohide taskbar enabled

For awhile now, Windows 10 seems to have a problem with autohide on the taskbar enabled. When I have it enabled, it takes 30 seconds to get logged in to the desktop from the login screen versus 1-2 seconds without it.

I've looked around and apparently other people have had this issue too. The only workaround is disabling autohide.

I would at least like someone at Microsoft to know this is an issue. I miss autohide and having ample screen estate.

    Thanks!
