Windows 10: Taskbar issue when having multiple instances of one type of window!

Hi, I've tried too search on various different options for this problem during a long time, years even, always ended up skipping it, cause my googling skills are lacking.However to keep it simple and put the problem is that if i have for example 2-10 or more instances of one type of window File Explorer/Steam/Browser/.txt etc. it breaks and the icon at the taskbar becomes unclickable, however if i click on the taskbar and hover over it i get it up and when i try to click on one it minimizes again. If i press Left Alt + Tab i can easily navigate to said map or window without any problem at al

• Are you using a Local Account or a Microsoft Account?
• What is the make and model of your PC?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Right click on the Taskbar and select Properties.
• Check if the option for Lock the Taskbar and Auto-hide the taskbar
  are ticked.
• If they are ticked then uncheck the option for Auto-hide the taskbar.

Also, suggest you to update the Display driver by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.

Feature suggestions - Confirm on exit, Allow/not allow multiple instances

I run multiple instances of gpuZ often(open 1st instance, then once opened, go to taskbar icon, rightclick and open infinite other instances by clicking gpuZ). I personally wouldnt want a confirm on exit dialogue box, but i cant see it being an issue if there was an option

 

Windows 10 Taskbar preview of multiple instances of a program

Hello everyone!

I am new to this forum and have had a problem with Windows 10 for a week or so now. Usually, when I hovered over a taskbar symbol and the program had multiple instances opened, I got a preview of all of these instances next to each other. Somehow, this feature stopped working and I now only see the names of the instances as you can see in the screenshot.
