Windows 10: Taskbar issues with multiple coppies of app running.

If I have multiple copies of an item on a sask bar when I try to select one, I put my mouse on the tas such as folders It briefly shows my open folders then it goes a way. Sometimes it does not go away but if I select one it does not switch to that folder or task. The same thing happens if I have 2 or more copies of chrome or any application. I restored the system to the last control point where it worked and the problem went a way for 2 days then returned. I followed the Microsoft instructions for bad task bar except for the delete and re-register the task bar with Powershell. That is a

• Are you using a Local Account or a Microsoft Account?
• What is the make and model of your PC?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Right click on the Taskbar and select Properties.
• Check if the option for Lock the Taskbar and Auto-hide the taskbar
  are ticked.
• If they are ticked then uncheck the option for Auto-hide the taskbar.

Also, suggest you to update the Display driver by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.

can I list multiple apps on one menu like in Windows 7?

Currently, there is no option to organize multiple apps on one menu in Windows 10. We suggest changing some taskbar settings to help with your concern. Follow the steps below:

• Open Settings.
  
• Click Personalization.
  
• Select Taskbar on the left pane.
  
• Choose the setting for Combine taskbar buttons option to
  When taskbar is full.
  

When taskbar is full option shows each window as an individual, labeled button. When the taskbar becomes crowded, apps with multiple open windows collapse into a single app button. Tap or click the button to see a list of the windows that
