Windows 10: Taskbar live preview isn't updating in real-time anymore

Hello,

The live preview of my taskbar has been showing me real-time preview for just a few minutes then stops updating as if it turns into a picture. I've tried disabling "Save taskbar thumbnail previews" to disable the cache but that didn't help.

Any thoughts?

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

Cannot disable Taskbar live preview in 7!

Hi all,

Recently tried out Windows 7 and decided to run it on my other HDD insted of VMware.

I'm trying to disable the taskbar live preview, and I've tried everything I can find:

> Creating a DWORD reg file named "DisablePreviewWindow" value 1 - Didn't work.

> Creating a DWORD reg file named "TaskbarNoPreview" value 1 - Didn't work.

> Local group policy editer "Turn off taskbar thumbnails" and check enable - Didn't work and noticed that it says "Supported on: Windows Vista Only"...

Can anyone tell me if they know how to turn this off it's really really annoying, and more annoying that everything I've tried dosn't work...

Live tiles not updating anymore

I've a Nokia Lumia 920 (AT&T) and i've been using this for 5months +.

I've few apps that are pinned to the start screen with 'live tiles'. My Stocks Portfolio, Amazing Weather HD, CNN. Last week i noticed that these apps stopped updating the tiles even though they're listed under the approved apps for background tasks.

I've re-installed some of these apps but it never updates the tile anymore.
