Windows 10: Taskbar missing information/Settings fail to open.

I'm not sure where to begin, I have been having flashing black screens on rare occasion, my settings app consistently fails to open, and my taskbar is missing some of its information, specifically the icons on the right most part Battery, wifi, time. I currently use an HP Laptop with windows 11 with 16 GB of RAM. That RAM may have a problem as I went to BIOS using F2 and used a system test extensive regarding black screens issue and it resulted in a "Memore fast test Failure" I did nothing further and I am currently using this device to make this post. I recently did a BIOS update since th

Volume icon missing from Taskbar

As an initial step I would suggest you to install all the pending updates and restart your computer, check if it fixes the issue.



Make sure Volume button display is enabled in taskbar.

• Open settings window
• Click on personalization, on left pane select task bar.
• On right pane click on 'select what icons appear on the taskbar'.
• Toggle volume icon to make volume icon appear on task bar.

Windows 10 Taskbar sometimes on top of full-screen applications

I suggest you to change the Screen Resolution and check if this helps. Follow the steps below to do the same:

• Press ‘Windows ’ key on the keyboard.
• In the search box, type Settings
  
• SelectSystem > Display > Advanced display settings.
• Under Resolution, select a new value. We suggest you stick with the resolution marked
  "(Recommended)”.

Also try locking and then unlocking the Taskbar and check if this helps. Follow the steps below:

• Right-click an empty space on the taskbar.
• If Lock the Taskbar has a check mark next to it, the taskbar is locked.
  
• If it does not have a check mark, click Lock the Taskbar.
