Windows 10: Taskbar on side - what was the reason of removing this feature

I was forced by my company to move to win11. Who was the genius, that made this happen? Or rather group of briliant minds, because someone had to "get the idea", and someone had to approve it. I would really want to know. I still fight with more than 12 years of habits!. This is why, i will not upgrage my private computer.

How to remove an Icon of "eConnect by Harris School Solutions" on my Taskbar

from the taskbar and check if it helps.

• Right click on the icon "eConnect by Harris School Solutions".
• Click on “Unpin from Taskbar” the icon will be removed from the taskbar.
