Windows 10: Taskbar search - Hidden option not there.

Hello all!


I clicked on the taskbar to follow these directions ->"To manage the search box on the taskbar, press and hold (or right-click) an empty spot on the taskbar and select Search. This will give you three options: Select Hidden to hide all search options on the taskbar. "


But I can't get to the "Hidden" selection. It just doesn't show/pop up. How else can I get to it?

This issue with search box may happen if it's hidden from the taskbar.

To resolve the issue, follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the taskbar and select Search.
• Select Show search box.

If in case that you're not seeing any search bar or box on your taskbar, this option can be hidden. You can have your search box appear on your taskbar by following these steps:

• Right-Click on the taskbar or Cortana.
  
• Hover your mouse over Cortana, then select Show search box.
