Windows 10: Taskbar search is not appearing as "Search box" even after the 2023 Feb Windows 11 update

The taskbar search is not appearing as a typable search box even after I set the correct settings in Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar items. The search functionality is working fine, but it's appearance is not changing as the way I set in Taskbar settings. I know that the feature was officially launched in Windows 11 Feb 2023 update. However, I can't use this feature even after I successfully updated to this version. This issue with search box may happen if it's hidden from the taskbar.

To resolve the issue, follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the taskbar and select Search.
• Select Show search box.

Please try the below and check if you can see search bar on taskbar:

Steps:

• Right click on Taskbar, move the mouse cursor on to
  Search option.
• Select Show Search icon (You will see Search icon beside Start)
• Select Show search bar (You will see Search bar beside Start)

New White Search Box Appeared on Taskbar This Morning After Update

I'd like to remove it from my taskbar, so I tried right clicking on the taskbar>Search>Show search box but that didn't work





Anyone know how to make it go away?
