Windows 10: Taskbar search wrong color

Discus and support Taskbar search wrong color in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; This is the 3rd time I reinstalled windows 10 FCU and as you can see in the attached image my search area in the taskbar is white when it should be...     Taskbar search wrong color


    This is the 3rd time I reinstalled windows 10 FCU and as you can see in the attached image my search area in the taskbar is white when it should be light gray.

    Windows 10 Buttons and Taskbar Icon No Color

    My Windows 10 Settings page has no color.

    Some of the Startup Buttons and Taskbar Icon (Store) have no color but they are still working. What could be wrong? How to restore the color?

    Taskbar font colors wrong

    The following images show my current issue (only on laptop, not desktop)

    Basically the text is too dark and unreadable for text in taskbar and in start. Drivers are updated and I have intel HD 5500. Anything else I can try?

    Changing transparency to dark seems to work, I will know after a couple of reboots. However the takeaway is a dark screen for settings app.
