Windows 10: Taskbar seems to crash a lot since May 2019 clean update.

This is to report a problem and to see if anyone has noticed the problem I'm reporting about. Plus, I'm making a copy of this to Windows support.


Taskbar closes then reopens from time to time and sometimes when opening 'This Computer' and doing major copes of large files or doing multiple Hard Drive benchmarks to check stability should never crash the 'Taskbar'.


This is on an Asus X99 MoBo and seems to only affect my MoBo. If so has anyone noticed that there 'Taskbar' has closed then reopen? If you have multiple background icons in the lower right corner of your 'Taskbar' and you notice icons missing then it could be your 'Taskbar' has closed and then reopen but not all the icons come back.


Again I just what to know if you ran into problems like this. And to note this has happened when doing a clean CD install of 2019 May update and using different benchmark programs and running 4 SATA at once in none RAID. And also note that the benchmark program should crash and not the 'Taskbar'. Showing that the 'Taskbar' needs work. If Windows crashed every time the program did we would be in so much trouble. Windows, 'Taskbar', and whatever programs that need to run 3rd party programs such as Games, Benchmark, or other programs take Windows or Taskbar down which in this case the Taskbar goes down a lot.


Eather Windows is downloading the wrong drivers or it's Windows that doesn't like my ASUS X-99 and setting Windows up wrong. Case in point I heard back in XP or ver 8 times where WIndows ran AMD CPU drivers on an Intel CPU board.


Plus, I have other recurring problems before the May 2019 "CLEAN" update. Oh, right it was the November 2018 "CLEAN" update "which some of the Microsoft agents denied and some agreed" and download if for a CD installation. 'Google' it and if you look hard enough you'll find that they change November 2018 update back to October of 2018. This may help your search. I downloaded the "MediaCreationTool1809" file on 11/15/2018 12:01 AM and it finished downloading "Windows 10 November 2018 'Which I renamed based on Windows 2018 November update site' on 11/15/2018 1:32 AM (UTC-6) Central Time based on file properties logs when you save a file. And they changed it back the next day back to October 2018.

If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.
