Windows 10: Taskbar Setting not opening & Edge occasionally not opening

Over this last week I have discovered that every time I have tried to open the Taskbar Settings on this Computer details attached they will not open. I get as far as opening the Personalization Settings, and when I click on Taskbar from the left panel it just not open. I have tried going into the Control Panel & open it from there & also right clicking on the Taskbar and opening the taskbar settings straight from here it doesn't make any difference it just won't open up. It just does nothing.Just now and for awhile a few days ago when I tried to open Edge that won't open either. I us

Can't open Outlook links in Edge

• Dose this problem occur on a particular website or all the links you try to open from Outlook?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done?

In the meantime, we suggest that you reset Microsoft Edge. Kindly refer to the steps below:

• Open Microsoft Edge.
• Click on More options […].
• Click on Settings.
• Click on ‘Choose what to clear’.
• Select all of them and click on Clear all.

Just to clarify, you would like to stop Microsoft Edge from automatically opening the link you stated, is that right?

If so, I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

1. Open Microsoft Edge.

2. Click the "more"(three dots) option.

3. Click Settings > Open Microsoft edge with/

4. From the drop down list, choose a different option other than "specific page".

After AM restart Edge will not open...

You need to select Open Microsoft Edge with Start page in Settings to open Edge with MSN news.
