Windows 10: Taskbar shows language switcher on windows 11 even though i only have one language installed

I am on windows 11 10.0.22621 and am using Canadian English as my display language. It is the only language pack installed, yet on the taskbar the language switcher gives me the option to switch to american english. I don't know how to make it go away. I tried using the powershell command to see what languages are installed and it verified that only canadian english was, i tried installing american english and then uninstalling it and that works until my computer restarts/shutdown.

sorry, but its not shown on the list, I chose 2 languages and when I use the taskbar language switcher, it shows 3

 

Windows 8.1 update changed the language, can't change back

Maybe, these will help... it seems it is a common enough problem.

Language packs are no longer available after you upgrade to Windows 8.1

Change your Windows display language
