I need help to understand why after I use Outlook opened Mail deleted Taskbar still show this Envelope IconThis may be useful for someone who needs to re-open delete Mail; but for others who do not need to re-open deleted Mail from Taskbar, I prefer Taskbar dropping this Envelope because Taskbar is cluttered with Envelopes that are deleted.I need help to get Taskbar automatically update its list of Envelopes for following actionsopen Outlook EmailTaskbar show Envelope for said emaildelete EmailTaskbar still shows Envelope which prevents other Icons to show .Right Click on this icon will open

    :)

    System Icons on taskbar

    Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

    • Click on the search bar on the taskbar.

    • Type system icons.

    • Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

    Hope it helps.

Photoshop icon is not showing on taskbar

Hi again and sorry that the previous troubleshooting didn't work as intended.

I found some alternatives that aren't harmful to your system to execute and could be of good use. As referred from

    https://www.iseepassword.com/icons-not-showing-...
    :

Step 1. Click on the "Windows" key and type "Powershell".

Step 2. Right-click on the Powershell option in the output list and click on "Run as administrator" option from the drop-down menu to launch it with admin privileges.

Step 3. Now copy-paste the following command in the blue Powershell dialogue box:

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

The process will take some time to execute the output successfully.

Step 4. After the command line has been executed, trace the following location: C:/Users/name/AppData/Local/ Replace the "name" with your user account name and make sure that your hidden files showing feature is enabled.

Step 5. Now scroll down the list of options and find out the file named "TileDataLayer" and simply delete the folder.

Now, move back to the system home screen and check if the icons have re-appeared or not on the taskbar.

    Hope this can be useful,
