    Taskbar suddenly frozen, icons not working, can't connect to internet


    Hi, Everyone,I am suddenly having trouble with my Dell laptop windows 10 Pro. The taskbar is frozen, icons don't react, and I can't connect to the internet. This happened about a year ago and someone here very kindly helped me through checking for corrupted files and repairing the apps. I've just tried to replicate the process but am getting errors in PowerShell. Any help would be most appreciated.Meredith

    System Icons on taskbar

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

    Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

    If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:


    • Click on the search bar on the taskbar.

    • Type system icons.

    • Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.
