Windows 10: Taskbar text turns black so not visible after Win 10 update

Hi

My computer has just been updated to Win 10 1809 which I understand is the October update.

One annouying issue has arisen that the text in the task bar for open programs and the clock has turned black so is not visible.


I know turning off the "Use small taskbar buttons" option shows the text correctly visible, which is what I am now having to use.

However I want small taskbar buttons to give a little more room for workspace.


Can Microsoft please fix this bug as seems to be a regular question with no resolution.

I've recently upgraded system to Windows 10 and I've found one problem: The possible colors of taskbar are in majority quite dark and text in taskbar is black (so it's difficult to read it). I've tried changing of desktop background and taskbar colors but
the text remains black.

In my second computer with Win 10 the text is white but I also haven't found out how to change it.

Is there any option to manually or automatically change color of text in task bar?

Thank you Thank you! Two Windows 10 updates in the last two days created black text on a black taskbar background! Yours was the ONLY solution - otherwise you got "No, it can't be done!" Thanks a heap for going the extra step and reporting back on your success!

 

Screen turns black with my mouse pointer visible and movable

Please help me somebody.. My laptop screen turns black and there is only mouse pointer visible and movable nothing else. I can't enter to safe mode also. I've win 10 os in my pc. When I updated it, its update installation process was running and suddenly
it turn screen black. I don't know what to do. Please help me out.
