Windows 10: taskbar windows 11 better use of icon overflow, date time and notification area.

The reason for my visit is for info on off the shelf taskbar utilities to modify the taskbar. Move and switch icons as the screen increases in size the icons are spread out and now i started using elevenclock because it moves the clock left side but now the start icon beneath the elevenclock time icon. If I could move icons to the right where there is unused space where the clock used to be and the notification area to its right. also i wanted to locate if more icons will fit into the icon overflow area. or Seem i used to be able to increase the hight of the main taskbar an

Windows 10 Pro - Taskbar icons [shows all in overflow area, but only 1 at a time in taskbar]

Fresh install of windows 10 Pro + plus latest patches & feature release;

The Taskbar icon area [bottom right] appears to be so small only 1 icon can be shown at any one time, if another icon is added by dragging it in from the overflow area or by another app, it covers
the first icon obscuring it.

i.e. the icon notification area does not auto expand to show multiple icons.

All my icons are visible only when I have then in the overflow area. Re-starting/stopping file explorer and rebooting has no effect. Hovering the mouse pointer over the icon area does not show any borders which can be expanded.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT HOW TO ENABLE ICONS or HIDE THEM!

I have looked in the settings and can't see any option for locking the icon notification area preventing the typical auto expanding behaviour normally experienced in Windows.

Hi,

To display all the notification icons on taskbar, please follow the steps below:

• Right click on the Time and date display.
• Select Customize notification icons.
• Under Notification area, click on Select which icons appear on the taskbar.
• Under Always show all icons in the notification area, click the switch on.
