Windows 10: Taskbar won't appear on the primary display when the secondary display has a fullscreen...

I'm looking for a solution to this. So I have two displays, one in front of me(main), and the second just to the left. On my main monitor, my taskbar is hidden on the left side of the screen. When I have a full-screen window on my secondary monitor, my taskbar on my first monitor won't pop out. How do I fix this?

fix

for those with a nvidia card the solution is as follows


go into fullscreen video option in the nvidia settings control panel

click the full screen device drop down

and select secondary display.


you now have video on primary display and secondary

 

Taskbars on Multiple Displays

One thing that has always annoyed me with Windows 10 is the way that if you have two or more displays, the taskbar on the secondary displays is not the same as the primary display. On secondary displays you are not allowed to add Toolbars to the taskbar. This is a real pain for me because I use the toolbars a lot, so having to change my ways when I am using a secondary display is very inconvenient. Does anyone know of a way to overcome this? Ideally I just want exactly the same taskbar on the secondary displays as is on the primary.
