Windows 10: Taskmanager inaccurate downloadspeed

Hello,I am using a 1GBPS up/down connection, and i am currently downloading something and it downloads at 10-30mb/s and i understand thats probably the limit from the source. However i do not understand why the taskmanager says i am downloading 100mbps in the performance tap while if u add up all the processes it doesnt go above 30mbps.I am using windows 11 if that matters.

Task Manager inaccurate?

I'm currently troubleshooting a Win10 laptop with an extremely slow startup and using Task Manger to see what's using the resources.
Now according to Task Manager/Processes the disk is running at 99% but in the list there's less than 3Mb in use!
So how is it giving me useful results, is it simply inaccurate or am I misunderstanding it's function?

 

Taskmanager is incomplete - MB RAM

The installer from memtest did format my USB and copied 4 files onto it. In boot it was seen as a bootable device but once select USB it says it cannot find an operating system and goes back to boot menu. So I made those 4 files an ISO with anyburn and used rufus to create a bootable USB using that iso. that worked to at least get the earlier posted screenshot.

Meanwhile after the corsair test I was doing the steps of the 3 guides. Disabling sysmain and restarting pc did clear out 400 MB of ram but from me as a user, not from the Mem that is used without reporting by what or whom? (600 MB used by me as a user and visible in taskmanager, more then 3 GB used total, so more then 2,4GB used invisible by taskmanager). Just to be clear my question was: why can't I see what else is using the memory and how can I find out? Your solutions suggest basic troubleshooting and maybe the unaccounted usage are windows processes not shown in taskmanager?

edit: and yes I did use the 4.20 USB installer not the bootable ISO one.





Edit 2: Allright, did all the tasks from your first response. de difference between memory usage accounted for and memory being used unaccounted remains.

I was thinking: could it be taskmanager only shows processes run and controllable by actual users (administrators, guests) and not the processes run by the user trustedinstaller?
