    TaskManager startup entries missing


    I just noticed that the entries in start up are missing. I ran a command to check what my startup programs are and they are all still registered how I would expect them to be, and they all start up when I reboot my computer, they're just not showing up in Task Manager. I also just checked the settings app and they don't appear there either.I tried:Restarting File ExplorerAdding program shortcuts to the "shell:common startup" foldersfc system scanRestarting my computerAny help with this would be appreciated, it's quite frustrating to have them all disappear like this for no reason.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    Adding programs to startup with Windows 7?

    You could add entries to the registry to launch the apps on startup, but it's easier to just add them to the startup foler as Newt suggested.
