    Printer no longer works after automatic windows updates

    I do not have the TIME to research problems. My printer no longer works with Windows 10. It worked for a couple of weeks. There was a Windows 10 update. It no longer worked. I am a tax preparer. I can't research this during the tax season.

    Original Title: why is windows 10 so difficult? should it not be seamless? why does it kick equipment off?

    I couldn't have said it better! it feels like Windows 10 is a beta program and we are the testers!! I'm in the mix of tax season right now (I'm and accountant) and need this PC to wok so I decided not to roll back to Windows 8.1 yet but I WILL hide any and
    all updates and prevent them from installing.

    After tax season I'll be looking for an alternative to this garbage! I hope someone in Microsoft is reading this discussion thread

    Internal Revenue Service, Reality Tax Division

    In addition to the non-existence of such Division, the only "reality" about it, is that you will be scammed out of as much money as they can get.

    In addition, the IRS will never email you about anything. The law requires that they telephone you, the agent must identify himself with his Federal ID Number, etc., etc.
