  1. Tcpip.sys BSOD

    Hi

Have been struggling with a recurring tcpip.sys BSOD on the system below, now starting to drive me crazy…

    Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
    IntelR CoreTM i7-3770S CPU @ 3.9Ghz
    RAM: 20 GB
    Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
    IntelR Gigabit CT Desktop Adaptor
Security: Windows Defender & Firewall, Malwarebytes, Adguard, SpiderOak

Problem started spontaneously a few weeks ago, with no preceding hardware or software changes. Checked your forums and have so far done the following:

    1 Reset tcpip.sys – problem persisted

    2 Updated network adaptors

    a. Was originally using the on-board Qualcom Atheros adaptor, running a Microsoft driver from 2013 – seemed to be the latest available – changed this to the latest Qualcom specific driver on the Gigabyte website, still dated 2013. System fine for a week, then BSOD returned.

    b. Put in a spare IntelR Gigabit CT Desktop Adaptor, which Windows assigned a Microsoft driver dated 12/06/2018. System fine for 5 days or so, but same BSOD has again returned.

3 As an aside, also tried the Troubleshoot section in Update & Security, but despite the existence of dump files, never seems to register the fact that there's been a BSOD, so the Blue Screen Troubleshooter isn’t offered

Any help gratefully appreciated – latest dump files, mini and full, are to hand

Error event from the latest crash:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b 0x00000000c0000005, 0xfffff803543be6d7, 0xffff8e0b70e0c410, 0x0000000000000000. A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 6af50230-eee9-4919-950f-6f4362b42dc6.

    :)

  2. Getting Critical_structure_corruption (tcpip/sys) BSOD on Windows 10 computer

    Old title: critical_structure_corruption (tcpip/sys)

    Hi,

I keeping getting a random BSOD with "critical_structure_corruption (tcpip/sys)" as the reason. I then have to wait approximately 10 seconds during which time Microsoft are collecting information about the error. This seemed to be introduced after the last
Windows update Tuesday. I couldn't find the cause so did a system restore and all was fine again until the following morning when Microsoft automatically installed the updates again. A rollback doesn't fix the problem now.

When are Microsoft going to fix it for me?

I have got an old-ish motherboard who's latest BIOS update was 2010 so I can't help but think this may be the reason. I've tried everything else.

    Any ideas?

  3. wdf01000.sys and ntoskrnl.exe BSOD

    I'm on Windows 10, 64bit

Basically, whenever I try to update my LPC controller through Device Manager, BSOD with WDF_VIOLATION occurs (culprit being wdf01000.sys)

So I try to use the driver verifier to see which driver is causing the BSOD, but then it causes BSOD (cultprit being ntoskrnl.exe)

Have no idea which driver is causing them

    Please help!

  4. Tcpip.sys BSOD

    BSOD - driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (l1c63x64.sys)

    Hi Seung,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by BSOD - driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (l1c63x64.sys).

Please let us know the make/model of your computer.

The L1C63x64.sys is the Atheros LAN driver and I would suggest to uninstall and reinstall the Atheros LAN driver but install the latest Atheros LAN driver by visiting the manufacture's website and avoid using any LAN driver available though Windows Update.

However the problem could also be with any VPN software and other software so make sure you have the latest version of each of these software.

If the errors continue uninstall the VPN software and check if the issue persist.

Hope this helps. Get back to us for further queries for BSOD - driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (l1c63x64.sys). We are happy to help!
