Windows 10: TEAMS Audio cuts out after 25 minutes

I have a user during TEAMS meetings who looses her audio consistently 30 minutes into a meeting. This appears to have started a few weeks ago, maybe with a Windows update? The audio will stop for five seconds or so and then resume for five seconds, continuously about 30 minutes into each meeting. This also happens with TEAMS online. Problem appears to be with TEAMS.... The user can watch a YouTube video for 45 minutes without problems.

We've replaced drivers, updated TEAMS, etc.

We'd appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

New Teams

Hi,

With regard to your concern, you can add a new team on Cortana by following the steps below:

• Click Cortana or the circle icon.
• Click the Notebook icon, scroll down and click Sports.
• Click Add a team and start typing the name of a team.
• Select the results.

Note: If the the team does not show up in the list you cannot add it to the Notebook. We suggest that you send a feedback using Windows Feedback hub so we can take note of this feature for future updates.

Windows 10 Audio Randomly Cuts Out

1) Is the issue confined with specific browser, when you say online audio and video is not working?

2) Is the issue is confined with play online audio/video or with system audio as well?

3) Which exact Windows troubleshooter you have run?



I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.



Step 1: If you have not performed audio troubleshooter then, I suggest you to perform audio troubleshooter.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the Search area on the taskbar and select
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Select Playing Audio under
  Sound and follow the on screen.
  

Step 2: Set Windows Audio services as manual.

Follow the below steps:

1) Press Windows key + r, type services.msc and hit Enter.

2) Check for the Windows Audio services.

3) Right click on the service and select Manual.

Sound cuts off after 2 minutes.

To understand the issue better, please provide answers to the below questions;

• 
  What is the make and model of your Computer?
  
• 
  Did you made any changes to the Computer recently?
  
• 
  When you said “sound lasts for 2 or 3 minutes” is it when playing a video or audio? If yes which media player are you using to play the audio or video?
  
• 
  Are you getting any error messages?
