Windows 10: Teams invitations opened in Windows Mail disappear and not added to calendar

When I receive and external invitation to a MS Teams meeting, I click on accept and not only does the meeting not get added to Calendar, but the email disappears into deleted items also.As it is the only thing with the join meeting link I have to manually go in to the deleted folder and pull it back out and flag the email so i can find it at the appropriate time.As it does not seem to add into my Windows 10 calendar I have add a reminder manually.Surely this cannot be right? Is there a setting, or is MS Teams really not compatible with MS Windows programs?Note - i have not

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!

Invite someone in Calendar not appearing

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Open the Calendar app.
• Place the cursor on the event created.
• Click on more details button.
• In invite someone box, type the name or Email address of the person you want to invite.
• Click on send invite.
