Windows 10: Teams - people icons for guests not displayed correctly

Hi,


I've spotted some odd behaviour in Teams.


People invited to Teams as guests and who have photographs set for their profile only get their picture displayed if Teams is used in a browser.


In the desktop or Android app they appear as the default plain coloured icon with a letter automatically derived from their name.


If their profile details are checked in Azure AD, their chosen picture/photograph is shown.


Is this a bug, or have I got to fix something?

P.S. Don't you think Teams should have its own category index entry in Microsoft "answers" by now, given all the external hype and internal investment in it at Microsoft?

Icons from apps aren´t displayed correctly

Thank you for posting your query at Microsoft community.

Do the apps work fine apart form the icons not displaying correctly? If so I would suggest you to run an SFC scan and check if it helps. If the issue persists you may run DISM command and check.

Follow this steps:

• • 
    Press Windows+X.
    
  • 
    Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
    
  • 
    Type the command SFC /SCANNOW and
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and hit
    Enter.

New Teams

Hi,

With regard to your concern, you can add a new team on Cortana by following the steps below:

• Click Cortana or the circle icon.
• Click the Notebook icon, scroll down and click Sports.
• Click Add a team and start typing the name of a team.
• Select the results.

Note: If the the team does not show up in the list you cannot add it to the Notebook. We suggest that you send a feedback using Windows Feedback hub so we can take note of this feature for future updates.

guest on wifi

It's really funny, when I right-click on my wifi icon the guest is on the list there, but when I did what you suggested, it wasn't on that list. What does that mean ?
