Windows 10: TEAMs stopped working with the external Focusrite USB card as an input device using...

Hello there,I have been using my Focusrite 2i2 USB soundcard with an external MIC to get a clearer voice during my Microsoft TEAM calls. Until recently, where it stopped using the input channel as a MIC. I didnt update any SW or FW on my Windows PC, nor updated any sound card driver. I can still choose on TEAMs the Focusrite USB Audio as an input and output device as before, but no one can hear me on TEAMs anymore.I have tried using a local DAW such as OBS Studio to record my voice using the same setup and it works fine. So it has to be a problem with a Microsoft TEAMs update that suddenly

USB Keyboard is an Older USB Device and Might Not work With USB 3.0

I currently have an external USB Keyboard displayed under Other Devices as a USB Input Devices which displayed on troubleshooting, as an "older USB device and might not work with USB 3.0, and to plug the device into an available USB 2.0 port".

The external keyboard in question was working fine yesterday. This morning, the keyboard stopped responding as a keyboard device (both in Device Manager of Control Panel and in Bluetooth and Other Devices of the Settings).

Please note the USB cable [for the keyboard] itself is working, but only to the extent
it is recognized as a USB Input Device under Bluetooth and Other Devices. Also, under Device Manager, there is no keyboard drivers listed.

 

USB device not working on Optiplex 9010

I did plug in external HDD and went to device manager.
There is none of unknown devices in the list (picture below)


OK disabled and enabled USB 3.0 root hub and then pluged in external HDD,here is exclamation mark I got:

Sennheiser GSP 350. Microphone stops working when I open any game

Wow, ok. I think I've fixed it by accident while fiddling around.

It appears to be the Realtek audio being the issue here. I don't use my onboard sound card as my headset is a USB headset only and my speakers are plugged into an ASUS sound card.

Step by step fix:

• I went into recording devices
• I enabled STEREO MIX (Realtek High Definition Audio)
• Then I set that Stereo Mix as the DEFAULT DEVICE (At this point it took over both input and output devices without my permission )
• Then set my Sennheiser headset as default recording and playback devices in their respective windows even though they both still said they were the default devices when they weren't

Headset microphone is currently functioning while in game now. I'll update the thread if it goes again. Should I completely disable Realtek audio??? Or will windows just force it to work again?
