Windows 10: Teamviewer and some other programs suddenly reporting IMM32.dll missing.

Dear Madam/Sir,

I have been getting error messages since last 3 days as under:--


RtIS5wake.exe about Realtek WOWL utility


IMM32.dll about Teamviewer.


It may happen with many other programs I have installed. I have Windows 10, x64 system ,Home Edition.


I am not technosavvy hence need remote controlled intervention from your technical team.

please let me know your India based office's toll free number for such online help.

Missing IMM32.dll when opening chrome.exe

Been running windows 10 since launch as an upgrade from 7 on this PC and today got the imm32.dll missing error anytime I try to open google chrome. I've uninstalled and reinstalled chrome as the error suggested with no luck. Then tried to do a system restore
only to find out it wasn't turned on(turned on now), so I didn't have any restore points from the w10 updates.

So now I've created a windows 10 USB stick to try a repair or maybe a reinstall using the Microsoft usb creator and try to run a start up repair only to get a 'couldn't repair' message, than tried reinstalling win10 through the usb only to get a "the drive
is locked" message. Seems there has to be a simple way of restoring a fresh copy of the .dll file as I think its corrupted. Been doing searches only to find old outdated links or shady looking sites wanting you to download their software. Its been awhile since
I've really messed with cmd prompt, but is there a way I can replace this missing/corrupt file using the win10 usb and command prompt? Thanks!

Windows 10 x64

An application, at first launch, reports the "The program can't start because d3dx9_27.dll is missing"

Noticed that whilst doing a search on this d3dx9_27.dll it mostly involves old threads and I am unsure as to whether I need to update Windows 10 with old drivers or so.

Any suggestions would be appreciate.

DLL Missing

I actually posted the link for the "list of troubleshooting steps to resolve your boost_threads.dll problems" which is located half way down the page. I did not mean to promote any downloads.

Why don't I just go back and indicate that on my original post? That way there's access to the 'step-by-step' instructions, which are accessed via those green 'plus' signs next to the topics.
