    Technical Issues with VRAM


    I am playing Dragon Age: Veilguard on PC. I meet minimum spec requirements. When I run Veilguard, the graphics settings tell me I am running 8 GB out of 1.9 available VRAM. This is my GPU and should be able to run this game just fine. I run BG3 on Ultra with no problem. I can run Veilguard, but when I move in game, it's blurry, and frames drop like crazy. I changed a setting and got an E_OUT OF MEMORY error. I have adjusted my virtual memory size and paging file, updated my BIOS and drivers, and fiddled with the GPU settings, but no matter what the game shows me I only have 1.9 GB of VRAM avai

    We appreciate your response and efforts in trying to perform the suggested troubleshooting steps provided. To further isolate the issue, kindly answer the following:

    • Were there any changes made on your computer prior to this issue?
    • Are you getting any error messages when trying to launch Settings on your PC?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
