Windows 10: Technical Problems

I just got this Notebook for Christmas and it is still giving me problems via the CD/DVD drive. I used to be able to just put a CD or a music CD into my computer and it would come up automatically but for some reason this computer doesn't recognize or is able to read the CD.

I even tried the answer that someone tried on their Windows 10 computer and it worked for them. Why won't it work for me? Any time I pull up Command Prompt and "Copy and Paste" the solution that the previous users used, I get this response right under the


C:Users/pmcle:>

The system cannot find the path specified.

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
