    Tecknet Bluetooth Mouse BM308 connected, buttons work, but cursor won't move.


    I purchased a 2019 Dell Inspiron 17 7000 with Windows 10 Home installed on it. I bought a Tecknet Bluetooth Mouse Model BM308 and connected it. Windows says it's connected and I went through running bluetooth troubleshooter, uninstalling and reinstalling device, and checked drivers for update and none were found.


    I can scroll with the middle mouse button, the two buttons on the side and top of the mouse work, but the cursor will not move. Please advise.

    Hi thanks for the reply. Let me expand a little more on what ive tried in detail. I wasn't clear.

    I removed the mouse and tried re-pairing.

    I uninstalled the bluetooth device driver and scanned for hardware change so it could detect. I also uninstalled Bluetooth driver and rebooted the computer.

    Bootcamp drivers are all up to date

    Windows update is up to date

    High Sierra

    No other bluetooth devices are near me

    Other computers that have NOT updated are detecting and pairing the mouse just fine

    Mouse worked perfectly fine before update. Matter of fact I spent 5 or so hours playing a game last night and I stopped because I was prompted for the update

    There are no updated drivers or drivers of any kind for this device since its generic bluetooth

    I tried a bluetooth Keyboard and it works just fine.

    Once again just to drive the point home, this mouse currently works perfectly on other, not updated computers and worked fine before last night.

    Not sure what else to do at this point.
