    HelloMy company sold an industrial hardware with Windows 7 Professional 32-bit + SP1 OEM. We want to replace the hard drive. I tried to use telephone-based activation with the product key we have I have also checked that this key is the correct one but the "answering machine" says it can not approve the code. I have tried many times but get the same result. I have done the same with XP products with no issue before on another industrial hardware.I tried to get in contact with microsoft with this issue but my it does not mach any of the selectable support topics. Where can I get in touch

    How to Rearm and Extend Free Usage (Activation Grace Period) of Windows 7 to 120 Days

    ‘Rearm’ trick on Windows 7 is done using the similar commands and steps with Windows Vista. Follow these steps to reset and extend activation grace period from 30 days to 120 days in Windows 7:

    Type any of the following commands into the command prompt, and then hit Enter:

    Code: sysprep /generalize slmgr.vbs –rearm rundll32 slc.dll,SLReArmWindows slmgr /rearm[/quote] As rearm only works for 3 times, make sure the command is only been run when the 30 days countdown of evaluation period is almost expired.

    Windows 10 Activation with win 7 key

    You may try the telephone activation. Follow below steps.



    · Open run command (Win+R)

    · Type "slui 4"

    · Then you have to select your country or region

    · A dialog box will appear and you can see a telephone number and an installation ID.

    · Call that number and provide the installation ID for offline activation

    · Then they will provide you a confirmation ID

    · Finally you can activate the product after enter the confirmation ID.

    If it won't work, You can clean install windows 7 and activate it by using your windows 7 key and the upgrade to windows 10 from 7.
