Windows 10: TEMP.DESKTOP created?

So, it all started when it said to sign out and if I didn't I would lose data. I did that, it made a temp account and a temp desktop? I don't know what that is but anyway, I deleted the temp account. Then I tried to delete the desktop through C:/users and it wants me to give permission to delete my original user file account too. I don't know if this is true or not and I'm also having suspicions because in this temp desktop thing, it actually still has everything. The only things wrong is that my past downloads have been deleted, and everything was unpinned from the desktop, so to open something, I have to search it through that search thing on the bottom right. I still actually have everything.

Temp.desktop folder only contain onedrive

You are correct, the TEMP.DESKTOP folder is created when you get logged into a Temporary Profile, if a Windows 10 updates does not complete as expected and that folder should be deleted automatically, when that problem is resolved . . .

Before you do anything or move any files around

Restart (not shut down) your PC 4 times, each time let your PC get to the Desktop before the next restart, this will fix this issue a lot of the time . ..

Once that is done, please check that your files exist in their normal folders, you can then delete that TEMP.DESKTOP folder form your PC . . .

 

Temp.desktop folder only contain onedrive

Yesterday I discovered that a huge TEMP.DESKTOP has been created at C:\user and that folder does only contain Onedrive things. But It does contain ALL my onedrive things, also those that shall not be stored locally. BTW, my normal onedrive storage is at D:\
and that one is working as it should.

I was told that Onedrive, sometimes create a tempfolder during the synchronisation process and after the sync is completed, that tempfolder should dissappear. But for me it remains, even after sync. What is also interesting to mention is that the size of this
onedrive folder, is twice the size of the whole c:\, where it stored. So something fishy is going on.

I was also told that sometimes the computer generate an additional user, when the normal profile is corrupt, and then the computer creates such TEMP.DESKTOP folder. But I not sure whether it is the same problem as I have. First the TEMP.DESKTOP only contain
the onedrive things, nothing else. Second, when I log on, I get no information that my "real" profile is corrupt or have any other problem.

Some other strange things: It takes a few minutes to open up the recycle bin. And I cannot shut down the computer by clicking on the windows symbol. Instead I have to log off and shut down the computer from there. First I thought that those problem was related
to that the C:\ was full, but now I have a lot of free space there, but those issues remains.

Hopefully someone can help me out here.
