Windows 10: Temp files is 36.1GB

So I reset my pc 2 times because of blue screen and I have 36.1GB in temp now?I checked %temp% it was fine but when I tried temp it said You don't have permission Continue with a admin logo.

Windows Temporary files are created by the operating system during the normal course of its running when there may not be enough memory allocated for the task.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to delete temporary files nad check if it helps:

Step 1

• Press Windows key + R
• Type temp and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

Step 2

• Press Windows key + R
• Type %temp% and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

Step 3

• Press Windows key + R
• Type prefetch and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

These temp files will not delete

• Type "temp" in the RUN Command Window, to open temp folder and then delete the files and folders inside the temp folder.

If the issue persists, follow method 2.

• Type "%temp%" in the RUN Command Window, to open temp folder and then delete the files and folders inside the temp folder.

Method 3:

Temp files 160gb, cleanup only shows about 1gb

Have had Win10 installed for about 2 weeks on a new PC. The temp files are 160gb already and filling the main C: disk to the limit. When I use storage cleanup it only identifies about 1gb of data to cleanup. Where can I look to find the hidden files?
