    Temp Folder in Windows 720GB in Size


    Hello friendly helper,


    I got a notification that my 1TB C: Drive was filling up. Strange enough because i only got it like 6 months ago. Run Disc Diagnostics and got 720gb of temp files. Couldnt delete them though windows disc manager so went on to manually delete all the files in C: windows / temp


    Upon further inspection i could find that this file type: Application_09EF54B0-06A1 ...

    was filling up temp with a 20MB event log file.

    Couldnt find anything with a google search so maybe someone of you could help me out.

    about temp folder

    Hi Hector,

    The temp folder provides work space for programs. Yes they can be deleted. We suggest that you follow the steps provided by Sangeeta Sarkar on how to delete Temp files on this

    link    . You may also type in the search box Disk Cleanup and hit enter. It will evaluate your disk and give you a list of folders sizes that can be deleted.
