Windows 10: %temp% not opening in run

i already tried sfc /scannow it did not fix, it keeps asking me what app to open with

:)

 

These temp files will not delete

If the issue persists, follow method 2.

Method 2:

• Press Windows key + R key together, to open RUN command Window.
• Type "%temp%" in the RUN Command Window, to open temp folder and then delete the files and folders inside the temp folder.
  

If the issue persists, follow method 3.

Method 3:

I suggest you to boot the computer to Safe Mode, then perform disk cleanup on Windows 10 and check, if it works.

Temp Files : Runaway Creation

Windows Temporary files are created by the operating system during the normal course of its running when there may not be enough memory allocated for the task.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to delete temporary files nad check if it helps:

Step 1

• Press Windows key + R
• Type temp and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

Step 2

• Press Windows key + R
• Type %temp% and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

Step 3

• Press Windows key + R
• Type prefetch and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

If you're getting an error code: 0xC1800103-0x90002, we suggest that you clear the Temp folder. Clearing the Temp folder will help us to speed up your PC. Having these files on your computer can actually cause it to have some internal errors. To clear your
Temporary folder, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R to open Run.
• Type Temp
• Hit Enter to open the Temp folder.
• Delete all the temporary files.
• Reboot the PC for the changes to take effect.

After deleting the files in your Temp folder, try to do an in-place upgrade again suggested by
