Windows 10: Temporary default panel 640*480

Discus and support Temporary default panel 640*480 in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; On boot up Windows 10 possibly can't initially identify HDMI monitor and installs the default 640*480 resolution.     Temporary default panel 640*480


    On boot up Windows 10 possibly can't initially identify HDMI monitor and installs the default 640*480 resolution. Thus changing the size and location of whatever open windows I had before. When boot-up is complete, the resolution is correct but the device manager shows as a hidden device additional monitor as Default flat panel 640*480 60Hz. That fact leads me to believe that the cause of resizing and relocation was the wrong panel identification. Additionally, I can see some new configurations in the Windows registry - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Confi

    Stuck in 640 X 480

    Troubleshooting a Rockwell program it was suggested to try starting 640 X 480.

    When that didn't work I unchecked the box for this and the app still starts in 640 X 480.

    Any suggestions?

    Rockwell FactoryTalk View,
    Had some issues with compatibility with windows 10. One of windows brilliant suggestions was to have it run in 640 x 480. Now, even though that box is unchecked, the program always opens in that resolution. I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled, rebooted the computer a couple thousand times and updated all drivers. Any ideas?

    6220c pseudo 640 x 480 video

    pseudo in terms of true resolution, I would love to read comments from users about the 6220c 640 x 480 video resolution, my feeling is this was misrepresented in advertising it is so obviously not a true 640 x 480 I mean you can create a 640 x 480 frame
    size from 176 x 144 if you really want to, in the case of 6220c it seems to me this is a 320 x 240 video interpolated by some proprietary manner to 640 x 480 frame size and passed off as such for what purpose that serves I have no idea- I would like to get
    the observations of others who have used it what do you think
