Discus and support Temporary Files on my D: Drive using 91GB of space but doesn't show me any files to delete?? in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; My D: drive has Temporary files taking up 91.9GB and won't offer me any option to delete any files?     Temporary Files on my D: Drive using 91GB of space but doesn't show me any files to delete??


    My D: drive has Temporary files taking up 91.9GB and won't offer me any option to delete any files? Tried all the obvious methods to resolve this, like those mentioned here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/disk-cleanup-in-windows-8a96ff42-5751-39ad-23d6-434b4d5b9a68Any ideas how to find and remove these files to free up a large amount of space on the drive?Many Thanks

    Any ideas how to find and remove these files to free up a large amount of space on the drive?

  3. How to delete Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files?

    Have you checked the boxes Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files while you run the Disk cleanup?

    Kindly be informed that if you want to delete the temporary files, you need to check the Temporary files box while you run the Disk cleanup. You can use Disk Cleanup to reduce the number of unnecessary files on your drives, which can help your PC run
    faster. It can delete temporary files and system files, empty the Recycle Bin, and remove a variety of other items that you might no longer need. Follow the below steps and check if it helps.


    • Press Windows + R keys on the keyboard to open run command prompt.

    • You can use Disk Cleanup to reduce the number of unnecessary files on your drives, which can help your PC run faster. It can delete temporary files and system files, empty the Recycle Bin, and remove a variety of other items that
      you might no longer need.Type cleanmgr in the run text box and hit
      Enter key on the keyboard.

    • In the Drives list, tap or click the drive that you want to clean up, and then tap or click
      OK.

    • In the Disk Cleanup dialog box, select the checkboxes (Temporary files and
      Temporary internet files) and for the file types you needed, tap or click
      OK, and then tap or click Delete files.
    Now check if you are able to delete the temporary files after running the Disk cleanup.

    Looks like you are running out of storage space, let's walk you through the steps of running
    Disc cleanup for your Windows 10 device.

    To delete temporary files, kindly follow these steps:

    • Press the Windows key to launch the Start menu.
    • Type in Disc cleanup and press Enter.
    • Under Files to delete, select the file types to get rid of. To get a description of the file type, select it.
    • Select OK.

    If you need to free up more space, you can also delete system files:

    • Press the Windows key to launch the Start menu.
    • Type in Disc cleanup and press Enter.
    • In Disk cleanup, select Clean up system files.
    • Select the file types to get rid of. To get a description of the file type, select it.
    • Select OK.
