Windows 10: temporary internet files will not clear

hi Microsoft:

Days ago, after going to disk cleanup, the temporary internet files will not clear. I restarted my device and will clear up. I had already cleared over 600 mb of files. In the past, when it gets to the point when I cleared up over 500 mb of files, the temporary internet files will not clear. Is it a bug or what is it? Any fixes or prevention?

I would respond as follows:

1. No, I have not installed any third party applications to delete Temporary Internet Files or Temporary Files.

2. Yes, as mentioned in my message, I had chcked the relevant boxes for Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files before performing Disk Clean-up. But still the files won't delete.

Your suggestion is about deleting Browsing history. I don't have any issues with deleting Browsing history. It's about deleting Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files. Browsing history can be deleted via Internet Options or from the option available
in the Hub of Microsoft Edge.

Any help on how to delete Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files would be greatly appreciated.

As I said Disk Cleanup lists Temporary Internet Files only for Internet Explorer, not the one used by Edge.

IE> Tools > Options > Delete. Enable the check box for "Temporary Internet Files and website files", and click Delete.

Are you saying that you completely cleared the Temporary Internet Files cache from Internet Explorer - Options, and still Disk Cleanup is showing up 1 GB for Temporary Internet Files?

Can you post a screenshot?
