Windows 10: Temporary Profile Issue

Hey everyone, my first post here. Before my issues, my PC was working 100%. I recently force shut down my PC which I hardly ever do and then turned it back on. I was greeted with a blue screen that said "Your PC ran into a problem...". The PC restarted a few time and then finally got to the desktop, however another message popped up saying that I am signed into a temporary profile and to sign out to fix it. Now here is where it gets frustrating for me. I've repeatedly tried signing out and it will just restart and give me the same message. I have also tried watching multiple solution videos and many have said to try going into the registry and changing the .bak file there, doesn't work either. I have noticed that under the windows update, there are a bunch of files that need updating but there is an error code 0x800703f1. I can't even access the windows troubleshooter, or even reset my PC which I have tried and it gave me a "changes can't be made" message. At this point I'm really out of ideas, I would like some answers from people if they know a solution before I take it in to get fixed. With school starting soon, I'm in a bit of a hurry. Windows 10 temporary profile error?

As per the issue description you are facing issue in editing some settings from a temporary profile. You need to login to your original (Administrator) profile to change those settings.

I would suggest you to change the account type to administrator, if it is not and see if it helps. Try the steps provided below to change the account type.

• Login with the temporary profile.
• Press Windows key + X.
• Select Control Panel from the list.
• Select Large icons from the view by drop down menu.
• Click on User Accounts.
• Click on Change Account type.
• Select Administrator radio button and click OK.

Try to login into my profile but am redirected to temporary profile.

In simple terms and step by step how to have my profile not be redirected to a temporary profile. Answers I have seen are too technical. Cannot figure out where to start on my computer to create a new user account as posts suggest. This started the
day I updated to Windows 10.
