Windows 10: temps

Well it appears this issue is solved but
now I have another one that has cropped up. Which I will start another thread for

 

Please share the solution with us, if the problem didn't simply go away by itself.

 

well i thought the issue went away on its own but it seems i still have temp issues. I completely cleaned off all the old thermal paste thinking there was too much on the cpu cover so i cleaned the old stuff off completely and then reapplied just a thin layer of it. But for some reason my temps are still spiking intermittently. after talking to the people at asus the mfr of my mb; i described to them what was going on and to them it seemed to them to point to a cpu issue(again; i say again because i already had to have the cpu replaced once and i hope i don't have to do it again) because it seems like nothing else I've tried is resolving this issue thus far. as for the fan; I've made sure that is seated properly which it is and yes the heat sink too has thermal paste on it so I'm not sure where to head at this point. as i said before even for someone who has been dealing with pcs for darn near close to 30 years this one has me stumped. i will check the temps again this evening when i get home as i won't have time this morning.

 

still running temps in the 40s and 50s (celsius) keeps spiking to those ranges.

 

also just tried to run the intel processor diagnostic tool and when it started running the load test on the processor; the temp spiked to like 83c and i didnt want to risk blowing the processor up(well it could already partially be blown up who knows) so i stopped the load test before it ended to avoid any more damage.

 

I'm still having issues with my temps spiking here and i just don't know what more to do. I still believe it could be a bad processor possibly.
