Windows 10: Teredo IPV6 issues.

Hi, I'm wondering if someone could help me, I'm not able to play any windows games related to xbox lives since some months (such as forza horizon 4 for example). It began a while ago but i didn't paid attention since i wasn't playing these games very much.

I tried everything such as reinstalling teredo via cmd, modifying client, port, server, i tried tons of different solutions but none of them worked, i only managed to make it works like a month ago, idk how and it didn't worked the very next day. I even tried with group policy, but the settings are not getting applied... I tried to update the device via device manager but the device teredo doesn't even exist (it's not even hided) and i can't find it while trying to manually install it...

So at this point idk what to do anymore, whenever i try to find new solution i just find one that i already tried. Whenever i type "Netsh Int Teredo Show Stat" in cmd i get this: http://imgur.com/a/ZinaWzN and this when trying to check Xbox network: http://imgur.com/a/zECCgI4

Teredo Issues

Hi there, I'm currently having issues with Forza Horizon 3 and Teredo to be in particular.

This is my netsh int teredo state output:

C:\Windows\system32>netsh int teredo show state

Teredo Parameters

---------------------------------------------

Type : disabled

Server Name : win1901.ipv6.microsoft.com.

Client Refresh Interval : 30 seconds

Client Port : unspecified

State : offline

Error : none

I have tried installing Teredo Tunneling Adapter through Add Legacy Hardware on Device Manager, but Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter isn't listed there.

Any help would be much appreciated.

IPv6: No network access (FH3: Teredo is unable to qualify)

I've been trying to play online on Forza Horizon 3 but it wasn't working giving the "Failed to resolve the server address. Check your DNS settings and try again" error because, I assumed, of a Teredo issue (NAT Type: Teredo is unable
to qualify). I tried every solution available, unfortunately non worked then I figured that the problem may be because there is 'no network access' in the 'IPv6 Connectivity' and as far as I know Teredo uses IPv6 tunnelling. Regardless, the issue here is the
connectivity to the Xbox Live Multiplayer server whether it it's due to the unavailability if IPv6 network access or some Teredo issue. I've just downloaded the game yesterday and have been trying to fix this issue for straight 6 hours now and it'd be really
disappointing if this is a Microsoft unsolved issue.

 

Teredo General System Failure

I've Managed to fix this problem and get the party chat to work in the Xbox app . Deleting the Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter n only need the Teredo Tunneling Pseudo Interface.

if you don't have the pseudo interface you can add it by opening the command prompt as an administrator and doing the following steps.

• type netsh : press enter
• type int teredo : press enter
• type set state disabled : press enter
• type int ipv6 : press enter
• type set teredo client : press enter

this will add the pseudo interface in the device manager.

it seems having the other teredo adapter makes trying to connect to a party in the xbox app a problem, or so it did for me.
