Teredo port preserving and UPnP say no

Hi all, Recently, I have been having an issue with forza horizon 3. When I try to go online it gets stuck on finding online adventure, or making horizon group. I have left it going for an entire night, only to find it still searching. So i went into CMD, and typed netsh int Teredo show state and it says this:Type : enterpriseclient Server Name : win1910.ipv6.microsoft.com. Client Refresh Interval : 20 seconds Client Port : unspecified State : qualified Client Type : teredo client Network : managed NAT

    :)

  2. Teredo and UPnP on Windows 10

This is my situation. I have a laptop and a desktop, both running the Windows 10 creators update. The xbox app on my laptop shows that I have a moderate NAT type and the I am connected to the server. On my desktop I have a open NAT type but am blocked from
connection to the server. I checked my modem setting and found a UPnP listing for Teredo with my laptop's IP address. There isn't one for my desktop. Does Teredo require UPnP to work? If so, can I force my desktop to create a UPnP listing? Also, after what
I've seen from the community, why does Microsoft insist on using Teredo?

  3. Teredo and UPnP on Windows 10

    Hi,

If you encounter issues wherein the Xbox app server connectivity is blocked even if your
Network address translation (NAT) type is open, this may be due to one of the following reasons:

    • The Windows Firewall is disabled.
    • A security software installed on your device has altered the Windows Firewall configuration.
    • A required service has been disabled or stopped.
We suggest enabling the Windows Firewall. Here are the steps:

    • Enter Windows Firewall in the search field on your toolbar (Cortana).
    • Select Windows Firewall from the search results.
    • On the left side of the window, select Turn Windows Firewall on or off.
    • If Turn off Windows Firewall is selected for your network type (public, private, or domain), select
Turn on Windows Firewall, and then select OK.
    • Restart your device so that the changes can take effect.
UPnP is not a requirement for Teredo to work. However, we recommend that the
UPnP settings is on. The best team to get an in-depth explanation regarding this is your
    Internet service provider.

Keep us posted with the progress. We'd be glad to provide you additional assistance.

  4. Teredo port preserving and UPnP say no

My NAT type says "Teredo is unable to qualify"

    Hi Kole,

You may receive the error message Teredo is unable to qualify
if your PC is unable to obtain a Teredo IP address. Teredo is a networking protocol that’s used to establish secure communications between clients and servers and to facilitate connectivity between devices behind routers that use network
address translation (NAT). To resolve your concern, we suggest that you follow the steps provided on this

    link
    .

If you have already done those steps as you mentioned in your description, you may proceed to open the network ports and setting a static Teredo port by following the steps on this

    link
    .

Keep us updated with the results after performing the suggested solutions above.
