  1. Terminal Update Problem

I have logged a call with Support but no call came through as scheduled. My problems started about 2 months ago, not sure what the catalyst was but my latest Windows Updates haven't worked. When attempting them, the PC will fall over and it can take between 2 and 150 attempts to reboot PC, it just hangs. Sometimes I will get "enter a boot drive" message and sometimes just nothing. Turn off and on repeatedly. When the PC does eventually restart I will immediately turn updates off, reboot and I tend to get a few hours of stability. I have followed instructions re running the DSIM, I get some sort of cryptic message that it can't find source files and the subsequent process doesn't appear to do anything. Is it possible to get someone from MS to remote in and see what is going on ? The problem is when I restart the update process, it will attempt to install but just hangs, reboots and I'm back at step 1 with a few more grey hairs.

    :)

    BUG: Session Terminated problem

It is a pity that it lacks the most essential feature. I am regretting the decision to purchase lumia710..
    It has several bugs..

    • internet connection problem. typical some error code while sync
    • session terminated, while inquiring balance.

Seems like nokia will be terminated out of the market very soon.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

    Terminal Update Problem

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Terminal Update Problem :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
