    Over a 10-day period I upgrade to 22H2, upgraded Dell bios on i9-7900x system, and swapped out a graphics board for a better one. I then noticed a major problem. My applications were taking 4.5 hours to run when they should have finished in 2 hours or less. I put the old video board back in. Complained to Dell that my system was not allowing a BIOS downgrade, then pulled the SDD "C" drive and the 'D" HDD and put in an old Del laptop drive that still had windows 10 on it.     w10 22H2 performance

    Got all my computers updated to version 22H2, both Win10 and Win11, haven't seen any issues with speeds. There is a bit of wait with a couple of programs but they've been that way ever since installing on different versions of Windows and Linux.

    • Which application you are referring to?

    Method 1: Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with system. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your System Maintenance.

    Refer these steps:

    • Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
    • Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
    • Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the
      left panel.
    • Run the System Maintenance troubleshooter.

    If the issues persist try next method.

    Method 2: I would suggest you to perform a clean boot and check.

    Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.

    If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update.
