Windows 10 is ok to run DOS command?

    Hello,

Office 2010 is working with W10 (I tested).

Before upgrading, it is better to clone your system disk. Rollback didn't work properly in my case. Hopefully, I did a clone before and was able to copy back my previous OS (Seven).

    Tested cloning application

    Hi there

Clonezilla will work for almost any type of HDD. It's FREE and bootable.

    Clonezilla - About

Note though I'm not sure if it will clone HDD's in a RAID array if you have a hardware RAID controller. If you've got SOFTWARE RAID (say in Linux MDADM type of RAID) then you can clone individual HDD's and rebuild the array on the target system.

Note though Target HDD must be equal in capacity or larger than source HDD - can't be smaller.

If you need to copy to a SMALLER HDD then you need to IMAGE the Source HDD and restore.

Free Macrium can do this for Windows -- if you do this with Linux systems you will probably need to re-install GRUB2 (the boot loader) again before the target HDD will boot.

Clonezilla is a CLONE so target system will boot.

    Cheers
