Windows 10: Testing NAPLAN Lockdown Browser did something to my laptop..

So, I use a school laptop for my work and yesterday we had a staff member come in and test the NAPLAN Locked down Browsers for an upcoming NAPLAN. After he finished testing my laptop, The taskbar and apps were minimized by a LOT. I have tried fixing it myself, but its not returning to normal.If this helps, I have an ASUS ExpertBook, running Windows 11 Education.

My son came home with same problem yesterday after doing NAPLAN practice testing.

From what i have found is that the Lockdown tool is supplied by Respondus.

Found this link that has a restore switch that can be added to the shortcut of the Lockdown tool. But have not have a chance to test it yet.

Lockdown browser causing constant screen dimming

My son had to install Lockdown Browser on his new laptop, operating with Windows 11. When Lockdown browser kicks in, the screen dims, then cycles from dim to black to bright and then continues to cycle through the brightness modes. We are unsure if it is a windows thing or a lockdown browser thing, but trying to trouble shoot from all sides since he has a test tomorrow! (yikes!)
