    Texas Instuments 1394 OHCI device doesnt let my computer sleep


    Recently I found a PCIE Firewire card in my closet, and decided to install it, seeing as I have some rather legacy devices laying around.However, upon installing it, I found that the only way to shut down my PC is to force turn it off with the power button.I searched around, and ended up installing legacy driver 6

    Windows 10 ≡ (1903) PCIe Firewire card (Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-PnP - 1394 OHCI event error).

    Did you try this troubleshooting step:

    Press the Windows key + R.

    Enter devmgmt.msc.

    Click OK.

    In Device Manager, expand IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers.

    Right-click on 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller.

    Click Update Driver Software.

    Click Browse my computer for driver software.

    Click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

    Click 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy).

    Click Next.

    When Windows has finished installing the driver, click Close.

    LSI 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller

    First Enable 1394 in the Bios. Boot into Windows and Go to the Device Manager, expand IEEE 1394 and right click the LSI device and choose Update Driver. Choose Browse my computer for driver software. Choose Let Me Pick from a list. Choose the 1394 OHCI compliant Host Controller instead of the LSI choose Next.

    My Video camera will not work transfering Videos to the computer unless I have a

    1394 OHCI Legacy Driver for windows 10.
