    Text and Display not working for QAS Application. How do I fix this?


    Hello MS Community, I'm a Tech Service Engineer, and I'm trying to fix a display issue with one of our client's applications. We push and install software on multiple Windows 10 devices; however, we've encountered an error with our QAS application. While installing the app, sometimes for computers the text does not display correctly and becomes very small see screenshot: Also, it is worth showing that sometimes an error code is generated when first opening the app:While normally I wouldn't rely on community forums to answer my question, the situation seems to call for it.     Text not Displaying properly in application

    Hi,

    It seems that you're having problems regarding your text display on your Windows 10 computer. For us to effectively assist you with your concern, we would like to know the following:

    • When did the issue start?
    • Did you make any changes to your computer prior to the problem?
    • Have you tried updating your display driver?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

    Sean, Personally, I'd go to the display card maker's support site to download & re-install the latest display driver before bothering with any further diagnostic steps. - Display driver corruption is a common cause of sleep/hibernation-related problems [and my suggestion used to be in the initial steps recommended by MS in Windows 7 built-in Help]. - And I mean re-install not just check for updates. - I suspect that the reason this fix can work is that re-installing the driver rewrites cross-references to driver components & related system components.
