    Text to Speech not working - I've tried everything!


    Hello,I'm attempting to setup text to speech on my desktop for when I'm working and nothing seems to work. I've updated all drivers and windows is fully updated. I've ensured that my mic and other devices are picking up my voice, without issue. If I spell out a word phonetically, it will pick up me saying the letters. Whole words, it will not. This doesn't seem very convenient. What am I doing wrong here? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so very much.

    To better assist you with the Text to speech issue, please answer the following questions:

    • Which OS build version is currently running on your phone? To check, just go to
      Settings> System> About> More info.
    • Are you getting an error message or code?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

    Do you heard of software which can read text in any application and convert text to mp3, wav, ogg or vox files? I known one - Alive Text to Speech , but it is not a free software, i can use it for 20 days.

    Do you recommend a free software?

    Text to Speech is completely silent

    My text-to-speech is completely silent. I have tried multiple troubleshooting suggestions found online and none have worked. All other sounds work fine, but no speech is audible.
